Chassis Design Engineer

Misiune

Create 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE.

Perform Digital Mock-Up (DMU) studies for packaging, clearance, and clash analysis.

Develop General Assembly (GA) drawings and 3D annotations.

Conduct feasibility studies and benchmarking activities.

Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Service (DFS) principles.

Optimize component weight, cost, manufacturability, and structural performance.

Support prototype builds and resolve vehicle integration issues.

Coordinate with CAE, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality, and Production teams.

Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECR), Engineering Change Orders (ECO), NPRs, and design releases.

Maintain BOM, CAD data, and PLM documentation using Windchill and SAP.

Prepare SOPs, Add/Delete Lists, and Design Maturity Index (DMI) reports.

Support design validation, testing, and issue resolution during vehicle builds.
