Job Description

In this project, we will develop a prototype for an automotive central control unit to showcase maximum performance and future features. As a lead architect, you will play a big role in this project and will act as responsible for the overall concept, feasibility, and development of the electronic control units and architecture. 

Your tasks include: 
- Responsible for concept, feasibility reviews, and development of automotive electronic control units and architectures
- Development and analysis of concepts and architectures for safe, performant, efficient, and cost-optimal control units
- Interface between the customer and internal development team for all Electronics architecture and development topics
- Development of electronic schematics based on customer requirements
- Responsible for specification, architecture, and development of control units
- Support in function and technical safety concepts execution incl. FMEA and FTA generation and development of issue resolutions
- Responsible for proper documentation of Electronics development and presentation to customers


- Electronics engineer or similar qualification
- Mandatory several years of experience in automobile control unit development
- Good Knowledge about vehicle-specific CPU hardware, clocking and synchronization topics and electronic components for realization on PCB level
- Good Knowledge about vehicle-specific communication hardware and protocols like CAN, FlexRay, automotive Ethernet and electronic components for realization on PCB level
- Good knowledge in electronics architecture and development 
- Basics of functional safety (ISO 26262) beneficial
- Knowledge about EMC aspects beneficial
- Communicative, creative and open, ability and drive for problem solving and still focus on customer needs and serial production
- Languages: proficient German + English
