You will be responsible for overseeing commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and verifying that all systems and equipment meet project specifications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in gas compressor stations commissioning, with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems in a gas processing or oil & gas setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commissioning Planning: Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures for gas compressor stations. Ensure plans align with project specifications and company standards.

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all commissioning activities are conducted in accordance with industry safety standards and regulations. Participate in HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) and safety assessments.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities, equipment performance data, and issue resolution. Prepare and submit detailed commissioning reports and punch lists.
  • Coordination and Communication: Work closely with construction teams, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions through commissioning phases. Participate in project meetings to provide status updates.
  • Training and Support: Provide operational training to site personnel on the newly commissioned systems and equipment, ensuring proper understanding of safety and maintenance procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance commissioning processes, optimize equipment performance, and reduce project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning, start-up, or maintenance of gas compressor stations or similar facilities in the oil & gas industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with gas compressor systems, including compressors, pumps, motors, PLCs, and DCS/SCADA control systems.
