Test Engineers – Location: Făurei

Job Description

In this project, Trial Operation Tests (TOT) is a precondition for Preliminary Take Over (PTO) and is conducted as simulated Commercial Operation without passengers, following a test program to ensure full functionality of each Trainset.

In anticipation of this TOT Phase, these trains will undergo an Internal Reliability Growth (IRG) phase in order to ensure proper reliability and maturity of the train’s systems.

Both the TOT and the IRG phases will use 2 different test centers located one of them beeing  in Făurei, Romania.

In the frame of these 2 test periods in Romania, the need for additional resources has been identified to carry out specific tasks related, but no limited to, functional tests, endurance tests, degraded mode tests, burn-in tests:

While candidates for the Test Engineer / Troubleshooter position will mainly work at the Făurei facility in Romania, they might be required to travel to France to support the tests at the another railway facility on an as-needed basis.

Availability to travel to Denmark, Germany, Czech Republic or France could also be required for training purposes in the frame of the safety training plan, or “on-the-job” technical learning.

Qualifications

Test Engineer/Trouble shooter with following experience / attributes:

  • Carry out Troubleshooting during Pre-warranty & Commissioning including investigation and repair
  • Reports & register any deviation (failure/event) in Failure Management data base including configuration data
  • Apply & enforce Client & customer EHS & security rules and relevant PI
  • Execute test & trouble shouting procedures to evaluate system performance and performs failure analysis on parts to be returned for repair
  • Support specific technical investigations by Engineering or internal/external Suppliers
  • Ensure good information flow about interventions & operations within Troubleshooting to support shift transition, if needed
  • Contribute to Return of Experience
  • English speaking is a must, Danish & French are a nice to have
