As part of our Value Optimization Engineering team, we are looking for several Value Optimization Engineers across multiple vehicle systems and commodities.
Open perimeters include:
- Body in White
- Stamping & Trims
- Seating
- Chassis
- Braking Systems
- Glazing
- Paint
- Other vehicle systems as required
We are looking for engineers with automotive experience who can identify, evaluate and implement cost optimization opportunities while maintaining product performance, quality, safety and customer requirements.
VOE team will work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Program teams and suppliers to drive value improvement initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the VO Driver in managing cost optimization activities within the assigned subsystem or perimeter.
- Identify, analyze and develop cost reduction opportunities for automotive components and systems.
- Prepare technical evaluations and support business case development for value optimization proposals.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing and suppliers to assess feasibility and implementation plans.
- Conduct benchmarking and data analysis to identify additional value improvement opportunities.
- Track initiative progress and ensure timely execution of approved actions.
- Monitor subsystem cost performance and highlight risks or deviations.
- Prepare and present status reports, analyses and recommendations to project stakeholders.
- Support the application of value optimization methodologies, tools and best practices.
Profil
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in Automotive Engineering, Product Development, Cost Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing or a similar technical function.
- Good understanding of automotive systems, components and manufacturing processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional and international teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data analysis tools.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Previous Stellantis experience is considered a strong advantage.

- Salary Range: Net monthly salary: 5,000 – 6,000 RON
