Missão

We are seeking detail-oriented Manufacturing Technicians for a number of ongoing projects in the North West to join our growing production team. This is a hands-on role involving the fabrication and installation of precision components used within advanced structures.

Working within a quality-driven manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for interpreting technical information, carrying out mechanical assembly operations, and ensuring products meet stringent industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and install precision components using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Interpret technical drawings, work packages, and build instructions.
  • Perform hole preparation, fastening and fitting activities to required tolerances.
  • Complete structural assembly tasks in accordance with engineering specifications.
  • Undertake quality checks and dimensional inspections throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Accurately complete build records and production documentation.
  • Identify and report quality, safety, or process concerns.
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient work area.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support team objectives.

Perfil

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent in an engineering-related discipline.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong practical skills and confidence using engineering tools and equipment.
  • Experience working to tight tolerances and quality standards.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
  • Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.

Desirable Experience

  • Background in aerospace, defence, automotive, rail, or other precision engineering sectors.
  • Experience of structural assembly or mechanical fitting activities.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and inspection techniques.
