About the Role
SEGULA Technologies Middle East is seeking an experienced BESS Engineer to supervise installation, integration, commissioning and performance testing of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise BESS installation and integration activities.
- Monitor battery system installation.
- Verify Battery Management System (BMS) integration.
- Coordinate electrical and control-system interfaces.
- Supervise and verify battery fire-safety systems.
- Monitor testing and commissioning.
- Witness functional and performance testing.
- Review technical documentation and test procedures.
- Support resolution of BESS integration issues.
- Coordinate with electrical, commissioning and HSE teams.
- Support final acceptance and handover.
Profil
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proven BESS design, integration and commissioning experience.
- Strong understanding of BMS architecture and interfaces.
- Experience with utility-scale battery systems.
- Knowledge of battery safety and fire-protection systems.
- Strong commissioning and performance-testing experience.
The requested profile requires 8+ years with BESS integration/commissioning and responsibility for BMS, fire safety and performance testing
