Responsibilities :
Increased system complexity
Modern trucks consist of many systems that need to work together, including the powertrain, brakes, steering, batteries, infotainment, telematics, and safety systems. Integration engineers ensure that the vehicle works as a complete system, rather than focusing only on individual components
Transition to new electrical architectures
The transition from older platforms to a newer architecture with a central computer instead of many separate ECUs requires extensive integration, verification, and troubleshooting before vehicles can enter series production.
Parallel support for old and new platforms
Existing vehicle platforms still need to be maintained while new platforms are being developed. Engineers are therefore needed who can troubleshoot issues on older vehicles while also validating new technology.
Rapid problem solving
When a fault occurs in a complete vehicle, it can be difficult to determine whether the root cause is related to software, electronics, wiring, or an individual control unit. Integration engineers work cross-functionally to identify the root cause and ensure that the entire system functions correctly.
Support for development and production
Since the team works across development, the factory, and the test track, integration engineers act as a link between engineering, testing, and production. They help identify and resolve issues before the vehicles reach customers.
Profil
Previous experience with the relevant vehicle platforms: Some engineers must have experience with T2, TEA2+, and T3, as well as hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical systems.
C category driving licence: A valid C driving licence is required.
Ability to work in Hällered: The engineer must be able to work in Hällered for one full week, after which they will move to another site.
