Labor
Support the design, development, validation, and engineering release of suspension components and sub-assemblies for Stellantis production vehicle programs.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Release: Lead the design, packaging, and engineering release of suspension components (control arms, knuckles, springs, dampers, sway bars).
Data Management: Create and maintain 2D/3D CAD models, detailed engineering drawings, structured BOMs, and engineering change notices.
Kinematics & Dynamics: Support suspension kinematics and compliance (K&C) analysis and vehicle integration activities.
Quality Documentation: Author and maintain DFMEAs and DVP&Rs for assigned components.
Testing & Validation: Coordinate bench-level structural testing, component durability, and vehicle-level dynamic validation.
Supplier & Program Support: Partner with Tier-1 suppliers and internal engineering teams during prototype builds, plant launches, and continuous improvement initiatives for mass, cost, quality, and warranty.
Perfil
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of automotive suspension, chassis, or design-release engineering experience.
Software: Proficient in Siemens NX or CATIA V5, combined with Teamcenter (or equivalent PLM).
Engineering Tools: Practical knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, structural testing, GD&T, and supplier management.
Skills: Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and technical communication capabilities.
