About the Role
SEGULA Technologies Middle East is seeking experienced Wind Engineers to provide full-time site supervision during wind-turbine erection, electrical integration, commissioning and reliability testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-time supervision of wind turbine generator (WTG) erection.
- Monitor mechanical and electrical installation activities.
- Supervise turbine assembly and installation.
- Monitor inter-array electrical-grid installation.
- Coordinate turbine interfaces with civil and electrical teams.
- Witness commissioning activities.
- Monitor start-up and reliability testing.
- Review construction quality and compliance with approved procedures.
- Identify technical issues and support their resolution.
- Support testing, completion and handover.
Perfil
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Proven wind-turbine erection experience.
- Strong commissioning experience.
- Experience with utility-scale onshore wind projects.
- Experience supervising WTG installation and inter-array electrical systems.
- Strong site-based construction supervision experience.
- Previous international/GCC experience advantageous.
The client requires Mechanical/Electrical Engineers with at least 10 years' experience specifically covering wind turbine erection and commissioning.
