We are supporting a UAE-based Defence & Aerospace / Industrial organisation and are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer.
Job Description
The Procurement Officer will manage supplier purchasing, negotiations, vendor coordination and procurement administration.
Responsibilities
- Identify and source suitable suppliers.
- Issue RFQs and collect quotations.
- Evaluate commercial proposals.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery and commercial terms.
- Prepare purchase orders.
- Manage supplier relationships.
- Coordinate contracts with logistics providers and vendors.
- Monitor order progress and delivery schedules.
- Follow up outstanding procurement actions.
- Maintain procurement data within Odoo.
- Support supplier-performance assessments.
- Coordinate with Finance, Logistics and Warehouse teams.
Perfil
Qualifications
- Previous procurement or purchasing experience.
- Strong supplier-sourcing experience.
- Proven commercial negotiation capability.
- Experience issuing RFQs and purchase orders.
- Vendor-management experience.
- Experience with Odoo Procurement or equivalent ERP.
- Fluent English.
- UAE experience preferred.
- Industrial, engineering, defence or aerospace procurement exposure is advantageous.
