The PLM & Project Lifecycle Expert provides the foundational industrial data expertise that fuels the AI models. While the university develops the underlying algorithms, this expert will map out exactly how complex engineering data (BOMs, 2D/3D CAD drawings, process sheets, requirements) is structured within enterprise IT platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Mapping: Bring advanced functional knowledge of dominant PLM/ALM platforms (Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE/DELMIA, Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill/Codebeamer) to spec out extraction and ingestion pathways.
- Lifecycle Modeling: Map out end-to-end configuration management workflows, requirement traceability matrixes, and engineering change order (ECO) loops.
- Knowledge Structuring Support: Partner closely with Knowledge Management Expert and Centro ALGORITMI to ensure the Knowledge Object Model accurately reflects complex industrial assemblies (EBOM-to-MBOM transformations).
Required Profile & Competencies
- Experience: 5 years as a PLM Solution Architect, Functional Expert, or Business Analyst with deep exposure to the entire engineering lifecycle.
- Software Ecosystems: Mastery of Dassault Systèmes (3DEXPERIENCE) and/or Siemens (Teamcenter) architectures. Familiarity with interoperability standards like STEP AP242 or OSLC is highly desirable.
- Data Translation: Outstanding analytical skills to translate complex PLM relational tables and hierarchies into clear schemas for the AI development teams.
