Are you a detail-oriented engineer looking to drive key operational processes in automotive component development? We are seeking a PRS Operations Specialist to join our Propulsion Systems and Engines team.
In this role, you will act as a vital bridge between Product Engineers, suppliers, laboratories, and assembly plants. You will manage critical technical documentation, coordinate prototype acquisitions, lead supplier approval workflows, and support the implementation of component changes into production.
Key ResponsibilitiesData & System Management: Upload and maintain part numbers for assigned vehicle families in corporate data systems; manage bill of materials, engineering graphs, and product changes.
Engineering & Change Documentation: Process Change Notices (CNs) for component modifications and prepare Production Evaluation Requests (PERs) for assembly plant functional testing.
Testing & Lab Coordination: Process workshop and laboratory work orders based on validation plans set by designated Product Engineers.
Procurement & Logistics: Submit purchase orders for prototype parts and external testing; coordinate part shipments between suppliers and assembly plants.
Tooling & Validation Approvals: Create and approve Tool Kick-Off (TKO) requests, manage Source Package releases, and issue Interim Approval Authorizations (IAAs) for part validation.
Technical Intelligence Gathering: Retrieve product change information, implementation timelines, technical service/recall bulletins, and engineering standards.
Perfil
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechanical Administration, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electromechanical).
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, administrative, or industrial project management (recent graduates with trainee/internship experience in manufacturing are also encouraged to apply).
- Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal).
