Company Description

For a power generation IPP project in Dubai, UAE, we are mobilizing an Owner’s Engineer team to support EPC design review, construction supervision, site inspection, testing, commissioning, COD readiness, and warranty-period follow-up.

We are looking for experienced professionals with strong EPC, Owner’s Engineer, consultant-side, power generation, utilities, waste-to-energy, biogas, landfill gas, thermal power, or industrial project experience.

Job Description

We are looking for an HSE Site Inspector to support daily site safety supervision, HSE inspections, permit-to-work monitoring, and contractor compliance for a confidential power generation IPP project in Dubai.

Key responsibilities include:

·       Conduct daily site HSE inspections and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and non-compliances.

·       Monitor high-risk activities including lifting, hot works, confined space, work at height, excavation, electrical works, and commissioning activities.

·       Verify permit-to-work implementation, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and method statements.

·       Monitor PPE compliance, housekeeping, emergency preparedness, site access, and barricading.

·       Support incident reporting, investigation, and corrective action follow-up.

·       Prepare HSE inspection reports and support weekly / monthly HSE reporting.

·       Coordinate with the HSE Engineer, Site Manager, EPC Contractor, and subcontractors.

Perfil

Qualifications

·       Diploma or degree in Engineering, HSE, or related discipline.

·       Minimum 5–7 years of HSE inspection experience on construction or industrial projects.

·       NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification is preferred.

·       Experience in power, utilities, industrial, EPC, or infrastructure projects.

·       Strong knowledge of UAE / GCC HSE requirements, permit-to-work, and site safety practices.
