We are seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Client/People Manager to join our team in Albany, NY. This unique role sits at the intersection of client success and team leadership. You will be the primary point of contact for our key clients across New York State while directly managing, mentoring, and supporting the internal team members who deliver on those clients' needs. Client Relationship Management: Act as the trusted advisor for regional clients. Conduct regular check-ins, assess satisfaction, and ensure service delivery aligns with their strategic goals. People Leadership & Development: Supervise, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for a dedicated team of operators. On-Site Engagement: Travel to client sites across New York State to conduct business reviews, troubleshoot issues, and strengthen relationships firsthand. Operational Excellence: Bridge the gap between client expectations and team execution. Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and resolve escalations swiftly. Retention & Growth: Identify opportunities to expand existing client accounts by understanding their evolving business needs.Key Responsibilities
Perfil
Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in client account management, relationship management, or customer success, with at least 1–2 years in a direct supervisory or people management role. Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 40%–50%) to client locations throughout New York State. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required. Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills. You can deliver tough feedback to a team member and navigate a complex conversation with a client with equal grace. Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills with a proven track record of resolving client conflicts and employee relations issues. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Communications, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).Qualifications
