    • My philosophy

    Curiosity, perseverance and team spirit.

‘Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, working together is success’. Henry Ford

    • My role at SEGULA

I’m an Industrialisation Methods Technician for our client SODERN, based in the Paris region. I report to the Rueil-Malmaison branch.

In my role as Methods Technician, I’m responsible for monitoring the production of products in the development phase or in series. Part of my job is to manage monitoring and applicable documents relating to the manufacture and environment of products. This includes contributing in the field, working with the various teams.

    • My background

I have a Master 1 from the CNAM in Paris (03) and a vocational degree in Industrial Production Management from the IUT in Nîmes, in the Var.

I’ve always had a keen interest in the aerospace sector. Joining this industry through the provision of services has been a real career opportunity, enabling me to enrich my skills through a variety of assignments.

    • My professional experience

It was in 2014 that I took my first steps in the methods field, at Airbus Helicopters, with a stint in the Design Office department where I supported operators in the manufacture of tanks for the Ariane 5 satellite launcher.

In my quest for knowledge, I joined the CNAM in 2017 to do a work-linked Master’s degree and worked in a boiler-making subcontractor in the aerospace sector.

In 2019, I worked in the chemical industry, more specifically in the industrialisation of automotive paint, within a subsidiary of Nippon Paint.

After a short stint at SANOFI in Ambarès (near Bordeaux) in maintenance planning for tablet production facilities, then at Naval Group in Ruelle-sur-Touvre (east of Angoulême) in methods, I joined the SEGULA Vitrolles teams in 2022 to strengthen the methods team in Elementary Parts for the Airbus Helicopters customer.

I then wanted to move to the Paris region and it was only natural that SEGULA should support me in my plans. As a result, I was able to take on a new assignment at the Rueil-Malmaison branch.

    • My best SEGULA project

My best SEGULA project was managing the transfer of manufacturing between two Airbus Helicopter suppliers. This involved responding to the needs of the suppliers, providing support by supplying datapacks or (2D and 3D tracings) of elementary parts. This was accompanied by weekly updates with the customer on the progress of the transfer.

    • My passions

Curious by nature and passionate about travel, I love discovering local gastronomy and new cultures. Reading is also one of my favourite pastimes.

    • My biggest dream

I don’t have any particular dream, other than to maintain my passion for everything I do, whether in my professional or personal life.

    • What skills and qualities do you think are essential for success in your field ?

For me, curiosity, listening and observation are key skills in the field of methods. Good interpersonal skills are just as important, because we’re constantly interacting with others, acting as a link between production and the other departments.

    • What advice would you give to young professionals looking to follow a career similar to yours at SEGULA ?

At SEGULA, we have managers who listen to our needs and projects. Talking to them is an opportunity to put forward ideas that can later strengthen SEGULA’s identity. Don’t hesitate to explore the different opportunities available to you in the various sectors of the Group.

    • What I appreciate most about SEGULA

I appreciate the close relationship with managers and the teamwork, which I particularly enjoyed when I was working on a plateau in the south of France. The opportunity to work independently and with complete confidence is also something I value very highly.
