1. My philosophy
I firmly believe Human Resources (HR) professional play a key role between a company’s economic objectives and the well-being of its employees, building positive workplace culture and drives organizational success.HR should always be staying ahead of evolving workforce needs though it may be challenging. From enhancing emotional intelligence to fostering inclusivity and compliance, HR is the true catalyst for change.
2. My role at SEGULA
For SEGULA technologies I play versatile role from being Head of Human Resources department, overseeing Administrative function, branding and external communication and actively working with Corporate HR team for HR project deliverables.
3. My training
I have completed Masters in Social Work (MSW) specialising in Human Resources management, EGMP – Executive General Management Program & Psychology from Indian Institute of Management – Bangalore(IIM – B). Contributed Various White paper presentations and Proof of Concepts in the field of Human Resources.
4. My professional experience
Over 18 years of experience in Human resources function, I was hand-picked, groomed and delivered successful critical HR Projects for Corporate Pioneer like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) & Hyundai Motor India Ltd.
5. My best project
Helping SEGULA Technologies to acquire Great Place To Work Certification, experimenting and demontrating results on employee satisfaction, engagement and attrition mitigation model , helping organisation to acquire Top Employer Award.
6. My passions
Iam passionate about the HR role itself, I often find myself selves juggling a delicate balance between supporting employees, addressing organizational needs, and managing compliance—all while maintaining a positive workplace culture. From handling employee onboarding to navigating complex employee relations issues and ensuring policies are up to date, the day-to-day of HR can be a whirlwind of responsibilities. It requires not only a deep understanding of the business but also empathy, adaptability, and resilience. It’s a challenging, yet incredibly rewarding role that keeps us on our toes and focused on the bigger picture: building and maintaining a thriving, supportive organizational environment.
7. My greatest dream
My greatest dream is to envision HR professional’s being trusted and empowered as true catalyst for change which the organisation wish to attain through pivotal asset of the organisation ie people power they are employees. I’ve seen how HR’s role is evolving. It’s no longer about just predicting financial performance, but about driving real-time value through human capability. When HR aligns talent strategies with business goals, it strengthens customer loyalty, boosts investor confidence, and enhances community reputation. These are the key factors that ultimately influence business results. HR leaders must take the lead in shaping not just the strategy but the future of the entire organisation power to influence and drive growth through people initiatives
8. What skills or qualities do you consider essential for success in your field?
HR professionals are responsible for managing and supporting an organization’s most valuable asset – its employees. They have to juggle various tasks such as recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and more. We are essentially the backbone of an organization, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that employees feel valued and supported. HR professionals are often the first point of contact for employees seeking support or guidance. They have to be empathetic listeners, problem solvers, and mediators, all while maintaining a level of objectivity and fairness.
9. Do you have any advice or recommendations for young professionals wishing to follow a career similar to yours at SEGULA?

At first glance, HR might appear to be all about paperwork, interviews, and managing employee benefits. However, HR professionals juggle a multitude of roles and tackle some of the most intricate challenges within any organization.
From conflict resolution and shaping organizational culture to ensuring legal compliance and promoting employee well-being, HR is central to a company’s success. Balancing the needs of the business with those of the employees requires exceptional interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and a profound understanding of both human behavior and business strategy.
Often the unsung heroes, HR professionals work tirelessly behind the scenes to foster a positive and productive work environment. This role demands empathy, resilience, and strategic thinking—qualities that make it both rewarding and incredibly challenging.
10. What I appreciate most about SEGULA
My previous experiences are like no one cared about my role or contributions—it was the brand’s power, not mine. SEGULA gives a Entrepreneur/ Entrepreneurship like experience to take responsibility, experiment and deliver what is best required for the organisation. Moreover, people always want to be heard, listened too, valued, feel like they belong. When they feel that way, they are absolute go getters & even better employees thats another strenght of Segula’s Leadership team.
