Anais, Recruitment Officer for the Tooling Automation System (TAS) division at SEGULA Technologies, talks about her career and the Group's commitment to the inclusion and employment of people with disabilities.
  • Philosophy of life

“You never know how strong you are until one day being strong is the only option”, Bob Marley.

  • Job

I’m a recruitment officer for the Tooling Automation System (TAS) division, based at the BRUZ site (in the west of France).

  • Professional experience

I have a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and have been working in the human resources sector for over 10 years, particularly in recruitment and employee follow-up.

I joined Team Segula in September 2023 and am responsible for managing recruitment for all the sectors of activity linked to TAS (Bruz, Trappes, Brognard, etc.). I’ve also recently started managing part of the Rolling Stock division.

  • My passions

As the mother of an 11-year-old boy and passionate about my work, I try to juggle these 2 roles as much as possible.

On the side: Eating, laughing, dancing, travelling, discovering and spending quality time with my loved ones, with a shopping addict option!

  • My disability

I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease at the age of 15.
To put it simply, without treatment, it’s as if you had gastroenteritis all the time, with all the joys that go with it. So it’s complicated to live a normal life this way… It’s now recognised as a disease whose seriousness is somewhere between diabetes and cancer.

I have a fortnightly course of “Immunosupressant”:

  • The advantages: it contains the symptoms of the disease
  • The minuses: very marked anaemia, weakened immune defences ++.

To cope with my disability, my manager has arranged my working hours and teleworking so that I can manage my workload as best I can, depending on my state of health and my medical appointments.

  • How I see myself in the future

I’m dynamic and motivated, with a constant thirst for learning and development, and I’m looking forward to getting involved in assignments, projects and responsibilities that will continue to provide intellectual stimulation.

  • SEGULA’s plus points

Openness, trust, a team, ambitions and ‘Be yourself’.
SEGULA has shown me the real value of the expression ‘disability inclusion’ within a company.
Beyond the words, the shop window and the image, my manager makes sure she gives me the best possible working conditions, allowing me to fulfil myself and make the most of my professional potential without having to feel guilty or apologise for being different.
