VO Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst with a solid understanding of automotive systems and components to support engineering, design, and change management activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with vehicle architecture including systems such as propshafts, IP consoles, and overall vehicle integration and will provide data-driven insights to enhance performance, efficiency, and decision-making across projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze engineering and manufacturing data related to vehicle systems and components.
  • Support Engineering Change Management (ECM) by maintaining accurate data and impact analyses.
  • Develop, maintain, and automate reports and dashboards using Excel (advanced formulas, macros) and Power BI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Create and maintain data models to support cost, weight, and performance analysis.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple sources and systems.
  • Prepare visual reports and summaries for technical and management reviews.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in an automotive or engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, ideally including propshafts, IP console, closures, or chassis components.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA).
  • Experience in Power BI for data visualization and performance dashboards.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working remotely in an English-speaking, global environment.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with engineering change processes and vehicle BOM data.
  • Knowledge of Teamcenter, PLM, or automotive data management systems.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical data in a clear, concise way.
