Software Testing Engineer
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible to perform functional testing on program delivery for one of our OEM automotive customers which will include test case design, test tool development, software update testing and test report delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Module software release testing Completion and Sign-off across multiple programs and deliveries utilising the customers module test specifications.
- Update the base functionality test cases within the customers module test specification for the customers modules for breadboard and vehicle validation.
- Support Software reflash process via different tools (CANcase, Radmoon, valueCAN, etc).
- Collect and tally the test data and analyse the root cause for test defects, regularly reviewing with local & global feature owners and suppliers.
- Identify on-site project lead as interface for work coordination from the testing personal.
- Preparation of software validation test reports.
- Fault finding and analysis of issues identified during testing to help root cause.
- JIRA issue testing and resolution validation in association with the software releases.
- Update and improvements of module test specifications working closely with the test leads.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Software Testing (Only in Automotive Domain is preferred.)
- More than 5 years of experience in automotive electrical engineering or a relevant engineering field.
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in electrical engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Familiarity in CAN Bus and Vector Tool technology.
- Experience in Infotainment is preferred.
