Diesel Mechanic- Abu Dhabi (UAE)-6 Months Renewable Project

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team, responsible for independently performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and corrective/reactive maintenance on diesel engines and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the field and a strong background in mechanical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on diesel engines and related systems.
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in diesel engines and other heavy machinery.
Perform routine inspections and assessments to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs performed.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Stay updated on industry best practices, safety protocols, and technical advancements.
Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics as needed.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and related mechanical components.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
