Project Launch Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Launch Manager to join our team, who will ensure the smooth execution of manufacturing projects. You will be responsible for overseeing projects from the preparation stage through to completion, ensuring quality, cost control, and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Project Management: 

  • Lead the execution of project launches, ensuring quality standards and cost objectives are met. 

  • Oversee manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with process standards, capacity, logistics, and timelines. 

  • Manage the quality of production and components, ensuring on-time delivery and problem resolution.

2. Process Improvement & Validation: 

  • Plan and oversee production ramp-up, ensuring the achievement of required production rates. 

  • Validate processes with the customer, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals (PPAP) are in place. 

  • Monitor and address quality issues, driving improvements and cost reductions. ​​​​​​

3. Team & Resource Management: 

  • Coordinate project teams, set objectives, and ensure resource availability for project milestones. 

  • Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring efficient use and timely execution. 

  • Support and develop team members, conducting performance appraisals and fostering growth. 

4. Communication & Coordination: 

  • Act as the main point of contact between the development team and the customer. 

  • Provide regular progress updates to leadership, ensuring alignment on project objectives. 

  • Participate in key reviews such as design, process, logistics, and safety. 

Qualifications

Requirements: 

  • Experience in project management within a manufacturing or production environment in Tier1 

  • Strong understanding of process standards, quality control, and production ramp-up. 

  • Excellent communication and team management skills. 

  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively. 

  • English B2 minimum
