Job Description
- Spearhead the Process Design with a particular focus on welding operations, enhancing efficiency and quality within the automotive sector.
- Conduct in-depth studies and evaluations of tools and equipment tailored for automotive welding processes, ensuring they meet industry standards.
- Oversee the setup, installation, and fine-tuning of welding equipment as part of the manufacturing process.
- Manage the commissioning, tryout, and operational phases of welding activities, ensuring seamless integration into overall manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, focusing on the impact of welding processes and promoting sustainable practices.
- Supervise the reliability, maintenance, and ramp-up of welding operations, aiming for optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
- At least 10 years of experience in a managerial role within the automotive industry, with a strong emphasis on welding.
- Proven ability to oversee complex site operations involving high-tech welding processes and equipment.
- Deep understanding of environmental impacts related to the automotive welding sector and strategies for mitigation.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the capability to drive team performance and productivity in a demanding industrial environment.
