Senior Mechanical Lead Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Lead Engineer (MLE) to join our client, a global player in the transportation sector.

Lead the development and integration of mechanical installations.
Manage design requirements and ensure compliance for validation and certification.
Lead the definition of interfaces, space allocation, and installation part design.
Supervise design teams and promote collaboration.
Support initial train assembly reviews and production phases.
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the field.

Qualifications

BSc/MSc degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
Experience or understanding of mechanical engineering applied to railway products
Knowledge of design requirements, validation and certification processes
Familiarity with interface definition, space allocation, and installation part design
OIQ membership is an asset
Bilingual in French and English. Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset for collaborating with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language within our company.
