Design and Release Engineer (Mechatronics)

Job Description

The Design Release Engineer is responsible for Development and implementation of engineering changes, Design and Product Validation Testing (DVP&R), design evaluations, evaluation of prototype tests in assembly plants, leader of Value Optimization at NAFTA level. Responsibilities also include: component design, development, and packaging; collaboration with PDO and Sciences, Design Verification Plan & Report (DVPR) testing.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
From 6 months to 5 years on design, release and CAD packaging experience.
Release experience in both Mechanical and electrical components
Mandatory experience in shifters, manual park release, active damping air suspension, switches, sensor, lighting or seats, exterior handles and latches, aero, outside rearview mirror, sunroof and PC.
Advanced level of English
