Construction Manager for Solar PV Plant
Job Description
The Construction Manager/Director is responsible for leading the on-site technical team and ensuring high-quality project delivery by:
- Supervising EPC Contractor progress, quality, and commissioning until COD.
- Ensuring compliance with HSE rules, regulations, and approved methods at all stages of construction.
- Organizing site layouts, storage, and resources while managing site meetings and reporting progress.
- Monitoring schedules, critical activities, and delays, proposing recovery plans to maintain timelines.
- Managing on-site personnel and collaborating with HR for workforce needs.
Qualifications
- Experience in PV (Photovoltaic) and/or renewable energy is required.
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese is mandatory.
- Ability to understand and manage EPC Contracts, O&M Agreements, and various Project Agreements.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage site teams effectively.
- Knowledge of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and regulations in construction.
- Expertise in construction monitoring, quality control, and commissioning processes.
- Competency in scheduling, progress tracking, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for optimizing workflows and managing delays.
