Mechanical Supervisor

Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Supervisor to join our team for the CIDADE DE VITORIA Project in Brazil. As the No. 1 Mechanical Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of mechanical activities in an offshore environment. This is an urgent requirement, and the selected candidate must be available to start immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in mechanical operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on the offshore project.
  • Supervise and lead a team of mechanical technicians to ensure efficient and safe execution of tasks.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to coordinate mechanical activities and ensure smooth project operations.
  • Ensure compliance with project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Perform regular inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, reports, and equipment records.
  • Promote a culture of safety and adhere to offshore regulations and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in an offshore environment.
  • Proficient in mechanical operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of rigging and lifting practices.
  • Valid certifications in the following:
    • BASIC OFFSHORE SAFETY INDUCTION AND EMERGENCY TRAINING INCLUDING E.B.S. - (OPITO/BOSIET) INCLUDING HUET (OPITO)
    • OFFSHORE EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM MEMBER (OERTM)
    • RIGGING AND LIFTING
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a challenging offshore environment with a 28/28 rotation.
