Conventional Field Instrumentation (CFI) Design Engineer (m/w/d)
Job Description
- Determining the correct measuring devices (e.g. pressure, temperature, flow rate, etc.) according to the requirements specified in the project.
- Discussing the requirements with the stakeholders.
- Clarifying and ensuring the consistency of all relevant interfaces and requirements within the project.
- Creating the technical specifications for the tender documents.
- Creating technical specifications.
- Providing technical support during processing with subcontractors and checking the technical documentation of the subcontractors.
- Participation in kick-off meetings and acceptance tests with customers or subcontractors.
- Independent solution of technical problems within the scope of project work.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in physics or any related discipline.
- Professional experience in field instrumentation (CFI measurement principles such as pressure, differential pressure, temperature).
- Knowledge of the basics of nuclear device qualification according to regulations (KTA, RCC-E, IEEE) advantageous.
- Process engineering knowledge about the selection of field devices.
- Experience in handling system documentation.
- Good knowledge of database-based data management in the project for field instrumentation.
- Fluent in English.
