Job Description
As an Electrical Architect, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the electrical architecture of our automotive products, ensuring they meet all technical, performance, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical System Design and Integration:
- Develop and define electrical architecture for automotive systems, including power distribution, communication networks, and control systems.
- Ensure integration of electrical components and systems, maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Conduct design reviews, ensuring robust and reliable electrical design solutions.
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with project managers to define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
- Requirements Analysis:
- Analyze and interpret customer requirements, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and design constraints.
- Translate requirements into detailed electrical design documentation.
- Validation and Testing:
- Develop and implement test plans to validate electrical systems and components.
- Oversee testing activities, analyzing results and driving corrective actions.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process and product improvements.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical system design and architecture within the automotive industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in electrical CAD tools and simulation software.
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, including EV/HEV architectures, CAN/LIN communication protocols, and functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicle technologies.
- Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations (e.g., SAE, IEEE).
