Supply Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team and support an important customer. The activity includes:

Represent the company and own the relationship with Suppliers
Perform Potential supplier assessment “PSA”
Determine root cause of supplier manufacturing problems and lead implementation of timely, effective, and efficient quality resolutions
Manage supplier crisis with on-site support within 24 hrs when required
Assure supplier understanding and compliance with APQP processes and product PPAP submission and approval requirements
Develop and execute plans to ensure supplier fulfillment of quoted capacity through use of Run at Rate workbook
Improve quality performance of suppliers, running workshops at supplier site and assisting supplier in developing a robust quality system

Qualifications

University Degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience. Preferred specializations are: mechanical, electronics, aeronautical, chemical, industrial processes
2 years, thereof 1 years’ experience in the field of Automotive Purchasing/Supplier Quality or Engineering
Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly plant processes, procedures, tooling, equipment and facilities
Demonstrated knowledge of probability, statistical quality control and design of experiments
Knowledge of the Commodity structure and its processes
Knowledge about quality management and value analysis
Knowledge of MS-Office
Flexibility, Ability to work under pressure, initiative, capacity of teamwork, social and intercultural competency
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and motivate team members
Technical and Quality Certifications are a plus
