Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team and support an important customer. The activity includes:

Represent the company and own the relationship with Suppliers
Perform Potential supplier assessment “PSA”
Determine root cause of supplier manufacturing problems and lead implementation of timely, effective, and efficient quality resolutions
Manage supplier crisis (quality and/or capacity issues) with on-site support within 24 hrs when required
Assure supplier understanding and compliance with APQP processes and product PPAP submission and approval requirements
Develop and execute plans to ensure supplier fulfillment of quoted capacity through use of Run at Rate workbook
Improve quality performance of suppliers, running workshops at supplier site and assist suppliers in developing a robust quality system

Qualifications

University Degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience. Preferred specializations are: mechanical, electronics, aeronautical, chemical and industrial processes
Technical and Quality Certifications are a plus
2 years, thereof 1 years’ experience in the field of Automotive Purchasing/Supplier Quality or Engineering.
