Electrical Supervisor (Manufacturing Industry)
Job Description
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Supervise electrical installation projects from launch to completion
- Ensure adherence to all industry quality assurance and control standards
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any electrical issues or safety hazards
- Train and mentor electrical staff to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize manufacturing processes and equipment reliability
- Maintain accurate records of project timelines, expenses, and compliance documents
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize workplace accidents and injuries
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in electrical systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical supervision, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems
- Experience with quality assurance and control processes
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as NEC, NFPA, and OSHA
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities
- Proficiency in project management software
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with large-scale manufacturing companies
- Background in industrial construction or engineering projects
- Experience with electrical installations in hazardous environments
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
