Product Design Project Manager (Automotive)
Job Description
Are you passionate about driving innovation in the automotive industry? We are looking for an experienced Product Design Project Manager to lead exciting projects focused on the design and development of plastic components for automotive interiors and exteriors.
In this role, you will manage project planning, quality, and customer relationships while mentoring a talented team of designers based in Tunisia. You’ll collaborate with leading OEMs in a dynamic and multinational environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the full lifecycle of interior and exterior plastic component design projects, ensuring timely delivery with high quality and cost control.
- Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and train the design team in Tunisia, ensuring compliance with customer-specific processes, milestones, and tools.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring deliverables meet their technical and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven Expertise:
- 6+ years of experience in the automotive sector, focusing on the design and development of plastic or metal sheet components (e.g., Body in White, interiors, exteriors, or lighting).
- Strong experience in design project management, with knowledge of processes and tools used by leading automotive brands.
- Languages and Certifications:
- Fluent in English and German (mandatory).
- PMP certification is a plus.
Locations: Casablanca, Tangier, and Agadir.
