Job Description
Reporting To: Director E&CP
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight & Management
- Oversee assigned projects, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, quality, HSE, and risk management standards.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineering teams to define and implement necessary corrective measures.
- Act as the focal point for communication and coordination of multinational project teams, ensuring smooth client interactions.
Leadership & Coordination
- Lead project personnel to enable efficient and effective project execution.
- Intervene proactively if team members face challenges in meeting project requirements.
- Coordinate with Area Managers and Engineering to manage HSE, quality, schedule, and risks across projects.
Technical Contributions
- Provide direct input into projects as needed.
- Prepare technical proposals and support business development efforts with technical expertise and man-hour estimates.
- Take on roles such as Engineering Manager or Project Engineer, depending on project size.
Process Improvement
- Standardize and harmonize engineering documents in collaboration with Engineering Departments.
- Establish, implement, and improve procedures and workflows within the area of responsibility.
- Support the establishment and refinement of engineering standards for the Group.
Compliance & Financial Management
- Ensure projects adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and Group’s IMS, PMS, and CMS standards.
- Guarantee timely invoicing and monitor overdue payments to maintain cash flow.
- Identify risks and deviations early, implementing mitigation measures as needed.
Collaboration & Business Development
- Maintain effective communication and cooperation with management and other Group areas.
- Contribute to the conservation and development of organizational know-how.
- Support business development and sales efforts.
Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications
Technical Experience
- Minimum 10–15 years of technical expertise in relevant fields.
Managerial Experience
- At least 5–10 years in managerial roles, overseeing complex projects.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Climate Studies, Renewable Energy, Environmental/Natural Resource Management, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
Linguistic Skills
- English proficiency is mandatory.
