  • My philosophy

My philosophy is based on the two complementary aspects of the word ‘learning’: acquiring knowledge and passing it on. I take great pleasure in learning every day and I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge.

  • My role at SEGULA

I’m currently working as a mechanical engineer in the Caen branch of the Automotive France division (Equipped Body / GMP and Chassis division). I’m Project Leader on the CAD FACTORY* project, in the Layout/Architecture area.

I wear 2 hats:

With my partner Franck LEON, I’m in charge of customer reporting, building and interpreting performance indicators, managing quality issues and managing the team’s workload.

I’m also working on an architecture assignment at Stellantis, on the group’s STLA-M modular platform. My role is to lead the geometric convergence of the digital definitions within my scope, in order to propose the best synthesis, in compliance with the Quality/Cost/Delivery/Performance criteria.

* The Cad Factory is a service centre for deliverables working for Stellantis Europe (France, Germany, Italy), which carries out various development assignments (CAD, 3D, 2D) in bodywork, mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as implementation activities.

  • My training

I have a DUT in physical measurements and an engineering degree from UTMB – Université de Technologie de Belfort-Montbéliard.

  • My professional experience

As a good Norman, I ‘arrived’ at SEGULA on 6 June 2016, working as a technical assistant at PSA’s Vélizy-Villacoublay site. Already in the field of implementation, on the e-CMP project, the Group’s first electric platform.

I then took part in building an implementation team with SEGULA Tunisia. Training, technical support and then management as the team grew. The business developed well, expanding to Morocco, and we now employ around forty people. I asked to be transferred to the Caen site after the Covid period to be closer to my family, and I’m still working for the client Stellantis.

  • My hobbies

Running: I’ve completed several marathons. Important to know: SEGULA Caen’s technical office specialises in plastics processing AND running.

Music: a former violinist, I listen to a lot of classical and metal music.

  • What skills or qualities do you consider essential for success in your field?

Architecture is a field where communication is very important. You have to understand technical problems and be able to summarise them. You have to run meetings with a lot of people from very different professions and have a culture of compromise.

  • Do you have any advice or recommendations for young professionals who want to follow a career similar to yours at SEGULA?

You have to accept that it can take a long time to develop your skills, you have to be curious and not hesitate to get your hands dirty!

  • What I appreciate most about working for SEGULA

The good work-life balance, the atmosphere in the design office and the spirit of mutual support among SEGULA employees!
