1. My philosophy

My philosophy toward work is to challenge myself continuously, even in aspects of my job with which I’m already familiar. Learning new things, taking new opportunities, always strive for excellence and give my best effort in everything I do. I believe that by consistently putting in hard work and dedication, I can achieve my goals and make a meaningful contribution to the company.

2. My role at SEGULA

Trough Segula, I work at Renault Group Brazil as Master Product Analyst.
I’m responsible for the Master vehicle project and my main tasks are to do all documentation control for wiring harness and accomplish the applications of project phases since the prototype until the series life.

3. My training

After graduating with a degree in engineering and project management, I went on to do advanced training in technology applied to civil construction, as well as a postgraduate course in operational business management. At the same time, I took specific training courses in the costing and manufacture of cable harnesses, specialising in the production of automotive cables in France.

4. My professional experience

Since August 2022, I’ve been working at SEGULA Technologies Brazil as Master Product Analyst for Renault Group Brazil’s Electrical Harnesses department. My role involves managing technical aspects and product development.

Previously, I held the position of Product Engineer at Acome do Brasil Ltda, where I was responsible for all technical documentation, the development of new projects and technical support in line with OEM requirements.

I also worked at Yazaki Autoparts do Brasil Ltda as a production process analyst. My main responsibilities included calculating production times for all lines and assisting with the implementation of new projects.

Finally, at Siemens Automotive Systems Ltda, I worked as a Senior Engineering and Process Analyst. There, I was responsible for technical documentation relating to wiring harness modifications and the implementation of improvements for Renault, as well as managing costs and quotations for customers including Renault, Volkswagen, Valeo, Honda, GM, Toyota and Ford.

5. My best project

Without a doubt, my best project was developing cables with temperature class T2 (-40° to 105°C) for BMW Brazil, from the beginning to final approval.
I developed the unprecedented line of T2 cables specific to BMW in accordance with their requirements. After to reaching the results required by the OEM, with this approval, was validated to fabrication of these cables at all Acome manufacturing sites.

6. My passions

I’m a very enthusiastic about culture in general, so I love to travel, know countries, their people, and costumes. Because this passion, I’m fluent in 5 languages. I love to draw, mainly superheroes like DC and Marvel comics. Another side of art that I love too is painting, oil in canvas, I did some expositions, I have many pieces that are spread throughout Brazil and abroad.

7. My greatest dream

Above to all, my greatest dream is having health to help my family continuously, my parents are old and deserve great love and care. For me, family is the basis for everything.
My goal in life is to be happy and fulfilled. I hope to find success in my career, maintain strong friendships, and contribute positively to the world around me. Overall, I aspire to live a meaningful and purposeful life. Certainly, working at Segula will contribute to reach my goal.

8. What skills or qualities do you consider essential for success in your field?

To be communicative and a problem solver. Work in team and to have proactivity, professionalism, having work ethic and to be adaptability for changes.

9. Do you have any advice or recommendations for young professionals wishing to follow a career similar to yours at SEGULA?

Be communicative about the opportunities you’re interested in and the ways you want to grow and try to hone your self-leadership capabilities. Being proactive about your advancement could enable you to achieve your objectives sooner than you might if you were to wait for supervisors to suggest changes.
Make your accomplishments known. Don’t let your lack of knowledge about a subject or others’ lack of confidence in you hold you back. If you can see yourself as successful, others will see you that way too.
