This position requires eligibility for a TN visa (i.e., Canadian citizenship) because it is located in Auburn Hills, MI.
SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Mechatronics Design Release Engineer to support Integrated Center Stack (ICS) components, with a strong focus on vehicle issue resolution, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and local plant and launch support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design, development, validation, and release of Integrated Center Stack (ICS) components.
- Review returned parts at QEC and investigate vehicle-level issues to identify root causes.
- Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and engineering teams.
- Implement and validate corrective actions at local U.S. manufacturing plants.
- Provide hands-on support during vehicle builds, plant issues, and product launches.
- Support engineering changes, component validation, and design release activities.
- Collaborate with Design, Electrical, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supplier Engineering teams.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of automotive engineering experience, preferably in Design Release, Product Development, Quality, or Validation.
- Experience with mechatronic/electromechanical automotive components.
- Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
- Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, 8D, or similar problem-solving methodologies is preferred.
- Willingness to provide hands-on support at local U.S. manufacturing plants.
