使命

Position Overview

We are seeking a Systems & Requirements Quality Engineer to define, author, maintain, and govern customer-level feature requirements for current and future vehicle programs. In this role, you will act as the technical bridge between product planning, core engineering, systems engineering, HMI, software, hardware, and validation teams. You will translate customer expectations, voice-of-customer clinics, and competitive benchmarks into testable, traceable, and defect-free engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Ownership & Quality: Own the creation, authoring, baselining, review, approval, and lifecycle tracking of technical requirements. Ensure specifications are complete, consistent, unambiguous, testable, and traceable.

  • Feature Decomposition: Lead the deconstruction of customer and stakeholder needs into platform-level functional and non-functional requirements. Tailor platform specifications for program-specific applications while maintaining global feature intent.

  • Cross-Functional Interface Alignment: Facilitate requirement reviews across global engineering teams to resolve technical gaps, interface conflicts, and architectural constraints.

  • Traceability & Change Governance: Maintain bidirectional traceability from high-level feature intent down to software, hardware, and validation test cases. Evaluate change requests for technical, timing, cost, and compliance impacts.

  • Validation & Compliance Integration: Partner with test teams to set acceptance criteria and verification methods. Ensure functional safety (ISO 26262), cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements are incorporated and documented.

简介

Key Competencies

  • Requirements Engineering & Governance: Expertise in authoring precise, testable specifications using INCOSE-aligned engineering standards.

  • Systems Architecture & Quality: Strong background in automotive functional decomposition, network topology diagrams, interface definitions, and defect prevention.

  • Application Lifecycle Management (ALM): Hands-on experience using IBM DOORS or IBM DOORS Next Gen to manage baselines, trace dependencies, and track requirement coverage.

  • Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Working knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), cybersecurity standards, and automotive regulatory frameworks.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Strong communication skills to facilitate technical reviews, resolve cross-domain issues (software, hardware, field), and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering (or ABET-accredited equivalent). Master’s degree preferred.

  • Experience: 1–5 years of automotive product development experience focused on requirements definition, systems engineering, or requirement quality/validation.

  • Domain Exposure: Familiarity with key automotive functional domains (e.g., ADAS, Infotainment, Body, Chassis, Propulsion, or Connectivity).
