使命

Position Overview We are seeking a Systems Engineer / Requirements Engineer to define, author, maintain, and govern customer-level feature requirements for current and future vehicle programs. In this role, you will act as the bridge between product planning, software, hardware, and validation teams. You will translate high-level customer expectations and business needs into precise, testable, and traceable technical requirements across the complete product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Management: Lead the authoring, baselining, review, approval, and tracking of engineering requirements throughout the feature lifecycle.

  • System Decomposition: Translate customer needs, competitive benchmarks, and clinic insights into measurable functional and non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate multi-disciplinary reviews across Software, Hardware, HMI, Systems, and Core Engineering to resolve feature gaps, assumptions, and interface dependencies.

  • Traceability & Change Control: Maintain bidirectional traceability from high-level features down to subsystem, software, hardware, and validation plans. Assess the technical, timing, and cost impacts of requirement changes.

  • Safety & Compliance Integration: Ensure all technical requirements incorporate applicable functional safety (ISO 26262), cybersecurity, and regulatory standards.

  • Validation Alignment: Partner with validation teams to establish clear verification methods, acceptance criteria, and issue-resolution pathways.

简介

Key Competencies

  • Requirements Engineering & Authoring: Expertise in writing clear, complete, unambiguous, and testable technical specifications using INCOSE-aligned practices.

  • Systems Architecture Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive systems engineering, including functional decomposition, network topologies, interface definitions, and data flows.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Ability to align non-technical stakeholder needs with technical constraints, drive consensus, and meet critical program milestones.

  • Lifecycle Management Tools: Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS Next Gen or comparable ALM software).

  • Functional Safety & Compliance: Working knowledge of automotive standards (such as ISO 26262) and global regulatory compliance.

  • Problem-Solving & Traceability: Strong analytical skills to perform change impact assessments across hardware, software, and vehicle-level testing domains.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent accredited engineering degree). Master’s degree preferred.

  • Experience: 1–5+ years of automotive product development experience with direct responsibility for requirements definition, architecture alignment, or lifecycle management.

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical teams.
