We are seeking a skilled Creo Design Engineer with experience in 3D modeling, product design, and engineering drawings using PTC Creo. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, GD&T, manufacturing processes, and product development.
Key Responsibilities
Develop 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings using PTC Creo.
Design mechanical components and assemblies based on customer or project requirements.
Modify and optimize existing designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance.
Prepare manufacturing drawings with GD&T as per ASME or ISO standards.
Perform design calculations and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and testing.
Create and maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and design change records.
Support prototype development, testing, and production implementation.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards and customer specifications.
Required Skills
Proficiency in PTC Creo (Creo Parametric).
Strong knowledge of 3D modeling, assembly, and detailing.
Experience with sheet metal, plastic, cast, machined, or fabricated components.
Good understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, forging, injection molding, and sheet metal.
Familiarity with BOM creation and engineering change management.
Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Windchill or other PLM systems.
Knowledge of FEA basics and design validation.
Exposure to automotive, aerospace, industrial equipment, or consumer products.
Familiarity with APQP, DFMEA, and DFM/DFA is an advantage.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
