使命
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented NVH Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, testing, and optimizing the acoustic and vibrational characteristics of our products. You will bridge the gap between design and physical performance, ensuring that our products meet strict quietness, comfort, and structural integrity standards. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in structural dynamics, acoustics, and signal processing, alongside hands-on experience with NVH testing and simulation tools.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Data Acquisition: Plan, setup, and execute NVH tests on components, subsystems, and full vehicles/products using advanced data acquisition systems (e.g., microphones, accelerometers, impact hammers).
Data Analysis: Analyze test data for modal analysis, operational deflection shapes (ODS), acoustic holography, and transfer path analysis (TPA) to identify the root causes of noise and vibration issues.
Simulation & CAE Integration: Work closely with the CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) team to correlate physical test data with finite element (FEA) models, predicting NVH performance early in the design cycle.
Troubleshooting & Countermeasures: Develop and validate engineering solutions to mitigate NVH issues, such as structural reinforcements, acoustic treatments, mass dampers, and isolation mounts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure that NVH targets are balanced with weight, cost, and durability constraints.
Reporting: Document test procedures, analyze results, and present clear, actionable technical reports to engineering leadership and stakeholders
简介
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Acoustics, or a closely related field.
Experience: 3+ years of professional engineering experience specifically focused on NVH testing, acoustics, or structural dynamics.
Technical Skills: * Hands-on proficiency with NVH data acquisition hardware and software (e.g., Siemens Simcenter/LMS Test.Lab, HEAD acoustics ArtemiS, Brüel & Kjær).
Strong understanding of digital signal processing (FFT, order tracking, filtering).
Familiarity with 3D CAD software and finite element analysis (FEA) tools (e.g., NASTRAN, ANSYS, Altair OptiStruct).
Problem Solving: Proven ability to diagnose complex dynamic issues and implement effective mechanical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Engineering with a focus on vibrations or acoustics.
Industry-specific experience (e.g., working with Electric Vehicle (EV) powertrains, where wind and road noise, or high-frequency motor whine, are primary focus areas).
Experience coding in MATLAB or Python for automated data processing and custom analysis.
Knowledge of psychoacoustics and human perception of sound.
