使命

  • participate and lead Electrical Systems technical improvements & developments for our existing and future airplane programs (optimize architectures, incorporate new technologies, etc.),
  • prepare/review or approve engineering documents related to electrical system changes on our Challenger 3500/650 and Global 5500/6500/7500/8000 airplanes (production + in-service aircraft),
  • propose, elaborate, and test novel approaches to optimize our business airplanes on aspects such as: emissions reduction, costs, weight, performance, customer satisfaction, etc,
  • lead technical investigations related to electrical or lighting systems,
  • conduct trade studies associated with new technology introduction and integration on aircraft,
  • contribute to the Electrical Knowledge Domain to capture lessons learned and best industry practices (product & process) as well as mentoring/guiding junior members or our team,
  • manage interfaces with internal & external partners and suppliers for technical aspects,
  • represent the Electrical discipline with internal and external collaborators.

  • hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering,
  • have a minimum of 15 years in aircraft electrical system integration or related experience,
  • have deep knowledge of relevant industry standards (RTCA/DO-160, SAE, MIL-STD, etc) and with airworthiness (TCCA, FAA, EASA) Regulations and Advisory Materials pertaining to Electrical,
  • apply strong analytical and systems-thinking skills to structure complex problems and maintain clarity across disciplines,
  • communicate effectively, tailoring technical concepts and project updates to diverse audiences, and clearly articulate status and risks to stakeholders at all levels,
  • have leadership and are motivated to work on multiple projects at the same time.

 

Position Details:

  • Located Montréal, Québec or Toronto, Ontario.
  • The position is currently a hybrid of working remote from home and on-site work.
