Our engineering teams are responsible for developing new features and applications with a focus on performance, quality, and robust architectural design. In this role, you won't just be building user interfaces; you will be the backbone of our next-generation infotainment system. You will focus heavily on the background services, network infrastructure, and security frameworks that keep our vehicles safely connected to the world.

This is a platform-centric role, meaning you will work deep in the stack with C++/C and Linux systems, with Kotlin used for handling the bridge to the Android-based infotainment layer.

• Network & Security Architecture: Designing, securing, and maintaining the vehicle's internal and external network interfaces, implementing robust firewall rules, and ensuring secure data transmission.

• Linux Platform Maintenance: Improving existing background services to ensure system stability, low latency, and high performance at the OS level.

• Feature Development: Developing new low-level features and background services based on complex automotive requirements and security standards.

• Lifecycle Ownership: Managing the entire software lifecycle, ensuring secure and stable CI/CD deliveries straight into production vehicles.

We are looking for a passionate, security-minded Systems Developer with a proven track record in low-level Linux and C++ engineering.

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent, alongside 8+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on C++ and a working knowledge of Kotlin/Java.

• Operating Systems: Deep understanding of the Linux operating system (kernel, networking stack, memory management, and security modules).

• Core Competency: Strong experience with VLANs, Networking, and Firewalls alongside network protocols (TCP/IP, routing, VPNs), firewall configuration, and embedded software security best practices.

• Automotive Tech: Experience with AUTOSAR and vehicle communication frameworks.

• Tooling: Experience with development and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Artifactory.

• Quality Assurance: Strong knowledge of software verification, unit testing, and integration testing for embedded systems.

• Languages: Fluent Swedish and professional proficiency in English (both spoken and written).

• Work Permit: Valid work permit for Sweden

Merits (Bonus Points)

• Experience working with PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and certificate management.

• Experience with AOSP (Android Open Source Project) and the Android HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer).

• Experience in Embedded Linux development or running software on top of hypervisors (e.g., QNX).

• Familiarity with Python, RxJava, and advanced automotive communication protocols.

• Prior experience specifically within the Automotive Tier-1 or OEM infotainment sector.

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
