Position: Vehicle Architecture Lead

Key Responsibilities
Lead vehicle architecture and package development for complete vehicle programs.
Define and manage vehicle layout, package, hard points, and architecture strategy.
Coordinate architecture activities across BIW, Exterior, Interior/Trims, Chassis, Powertrain, Electrical & E/E teams.
Develop and review vehicle package layouts, master sections, and 3D vehicle architecture.
Ensure compliance with ergonomics, space, regulatory, manufacturing, serviceability, and functional requirements.
Perform DMU/3D integration and packaging studies and resolve interface/clearance issues.
Conduct design reviews and drive resolution of cross-functional packaging conflicts.
Manage technical requirements, design changes, architecture maturity, and project milestones.
Work closely with OEM/customer, design, simulation, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
Support design validation, feasibility studies, and issue resolution throughout the vehicle development cycle.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on vehicle architecture activities.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Vehicle Architecture / Vehicle Packaging / Vehicle Integration.
Good knowledge of BIW, Closures, Exterior & Interior Trims, Chassis and Powertrain packaging.
Experience with CATIA V5/V6 or 3DEXPERIENCE.
Knowledge of DMU, Master Section, GD&T, tolerance and clearance analysis.
Understanding of vehicle ergonomics, occupant/package requirements and regulatory constraints.
Strong cross-functional coordination and technical leadership skills.
Experience in automotive OEM / Tier-1 / engineering services environment preferred.
