Missão
- Design and develop automotive corner module components using CATIA V5.
- Design and modify member links, suspension links, control arms, knuckles, brackets, and associated components.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5.
- Perform component packaging and ensure adequate clearance with surrounding vehicle components.
- Develop designs considering strength, stiffness, weight, durability, manufacturability, and assembly requirements.
- Work with vehicle packaging and suspension teams to resolve interference and clearance issues.
- Incorporate inputs from CAE, durability, NVH, testing, manufacturing, and supplier teams.
- Apply GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and functional requirements to component designs.
- Support prototype development, validation, testing, and production implementation.
- Analyze and resolve design issues identified during prototype, testing, and production stages.
- Prepare and maintain BOM, engineering drawings, design specifications, and change documentation.
- Support ECR/ECN activities and implement engineering changes.
- Coordinate with suppliers for component development, tooling, manufacturing feasibility, and design validation.
- Ensure designs comply with OEM standards, customer requirements, and applicable automotive standards.
Perfil
We are looking for an experienced Automotive Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in Corner Module and Member Link design using CATIA V5. The candidate will be responsible for the design and development of suspension and wheel-end components, 3D modeling, detailing, packaging, and coordination with CAE, manufacturing, testing, and supplier teams.
