Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineering & Commissioning Lead to lead plant-readiness, commissioning and ramp-up activities within a manufacturing improvement project.
The consultant will define the readiness methodology, coordinate plant stakeholders and ensure successful completion of layout, installation, trial-run and handover gates.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead plant-layout and installation-readiness assessments.
- Review installation constraints and commissioning dependencies.
- Define the commissioning and readiness-gate methodology.
- Establish gate acceptance criteria and approval requirements.
- Lead layout-freeze, installation, trial-run and ramp-up reviews.
- Coordinate production, maintenance, logistics, quality and HSE stakeholders.
- Establish project governance, meeting cadence and escalation paths.
- Review risks, issues, actions and mitigation measures.
- Lead trial-run preparation and readiness meetings.
- Monitor commissioning and ramp-up KPIs.
- Review and approve project-team deliverables.
- Ensure plant-owner handover and final sign-off.
Perfil
Qualifications
- Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or Production Engineering.
- Between 10 and 15 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive manufacturing engineering, commissioning or industrialization experience.
- Previous leadership of production-line installation or ramp-up assignments.
- Strong plant-layout and equipment-readiness capability.
- Experience managing readiness gates and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong governance, risk and stakeholder-management skills.
- AutoCAD or comparable layout-review capability.
- Professional English and Arabic communication skills.
