Job Description – IT Talent Acquisition (Technical Recruiter)


We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented IT Talent Acquisition Specialist / Technical Recruiter to manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for technology positions. The ideal candidate should have experience hiring software engineering and infrastructure professionals, including Java Developers, DevOps Engineers, Full Stack Developers, Cloud Engineers, QA Engineers, Data Engineers, and other IT roles.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding for IT positions.
  2. Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, project needs, and hiring priorities.
  3. Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, social media, internal databases, and networking platforms.
  4. Screen resumes and conduct initial technical and behavioral interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  5. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of IT professionals across multiple technology domains.
  6. Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers, technical panels, and stakeholders while ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
  7. Negotiate compensation, facilitate offer rollouts, and support candidates through the onboarding process.
  8. Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, interview conversion, and offer acceptance ratio.
  9. Maintain candidate records and recruitment activities using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  10. Stay updated on current technology trends, market hiring practices, salary benchmarks, and talent availability.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience in end-to-end IT recruitment.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT project environments.
  • Ability to understand technical job descriptions and assess candidate profiles.
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, Indeed, Monster, and other job portals.
  • Excellent candidate sourcing, networking, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience using ATS and recruitment management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously while meeting hiring timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience hiring for product companies, IT services, consulting firms, or Global Capability Centers (GCCs).
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, DevOps, Cloud technologies, and modern software development practices.
  • Experience supporting domestic and/or global hiring is an added advantage.
