Job Description
We are looking for an ADNOC Approved Driver to support a short-term assignment in the UAE. The selected candidate must have valid ADNOC approval and strong experience in safe driving operations within oil & gas, industrial, or testing environments.
The driver will be required to attend and successfully pass a Basic Safety / Test Drive Training Assessment before mobilization.
Key Responsibilities
Drive company/project vehicles safely in line with ADNOC, client, and site HSE requirements.
Support the project team with transportation, test-drive support, and daily operational driving needs.
Comply with journey management, defensive driving, road safety, and site procedures.
Perform vehicle pre-use inspections and report defects or unsafe conditions immediately.
Maintain safe driving behavior during road, site, and controlled test-drive conditions.
Follow all instructions from the project/site supervisor and HSE team.
Mandatory Requirements
ADNOC approved driver status is mandatory.
Valid UAE driving license.
Previous experience working on ADNOC, oil & gas, industrial, or testing projects in the UAE.
Strong defensive driving and HSE awareness.
Availability for a 2-month assignment.
Ability to attend and pass the required safety/test-drive assessment.
Perfil
Training / Assessment Content
The assessment will cover safety during test drives, including how testing operations can be conducted safely. It will also include vehicle dynamics topics such as tire force distribution, understeer, and oversteer. Practical exercises include 18m slalom, emergency braking with evasive maneuver, double unbraked lane change with ESP deactivated, and 180° curve handling with understeer/oversteer reaction. Speed ranges mentioned in the assessment include 80–100 km/h for braking/evasive maneuver and 80–90 km/h for the lane change exercise.
