Missão
- Lead technical investigations into aftermarket telematics and vehicle connectivity quality issues.
- Analyze and troubleshoot cellular connectivity, SIM/eSIM provisioning, APN configuration, roaming, network fallback, eCall and bCall services.
- Investigate connected vehicle functions, including vehicle networks, diagnostics, backend communication and OTA software updates.
- Perform fault analysis, issue reproduction and root cause investigations using vehicle data, system logs, warranty parts and test results.
- Collaborate with engineering, Aftersales, manufacturing, quality teams and suppliers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Provide advanced technical support and act as the main technical contact for assigned investigations.
- Manage quality investigations in JIRA and support the 8D process, from problem identification through root cause analysis and corrective action validation.
- Coordinate warranty part analysis and plan validation tests to confirm issues and solutions.
- Prepare technical reports, document findings and communicate investigation progress and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing technical knowledge and enhancing investigation processes.
Perfil
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer or Automotive Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Several years of experience in automotive telematics, connectivity, system integration, validation or quality investigations.
- Strong knowledge of cellular connectivity, SIM/eSIM provisioning, APN configuration, roaming, eCall and bCall services.
- Experience with vehicle communication protocols such as CAN, Automotive Ethernet, UDS and DoIP.
- Hands-on experience in system testing, fault diagnosis, issue reproduction and root cause analysis (8D, Six Sigma).
- Good knowledge of modem, vehicle and network log analysis using tools such as Qualcomm QXDM, QCAT, QPST, CANoe, CANalyzer or Wireshark.
- Understanding of vehicle electrical/electronic architectures, IP networking and connected vehicle systems.
- Experience with technical documentation, reporting and coordination of international cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of OTA updates, cloud/backend integration or connectivity management platforms is an advantage.
- Basic programming skills in Python or SQL are desirable.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel internationally and possession of a valid Class B driving licence.
- Basic knowledge of GDPR and vehicle/customer data protection.
- Proactive, analytical and solution-oriented mindset with strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
