We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to manage international supply-chain, import/export and customs activities.
Job Description
The Logistics Manager will be responsible for supply-chain operations, customs management and international transportation of specialised industrial equipment and materials.
Responsibilities
- Manage international supply-chain and logistics activities.
- Coordinate import and export operations.
- Manage customs-clearance processes.
- Coordinate international freight and transportation.
- Manage freight forwarders and logistics service providers.
- Ensure shipping and customs documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Coordinate logistics for controlled and dual-use products where applicable.
- Review HS classifications and shipping documentation.
- Monitor international shipment schedules.
- Resolve customs, transportation and delivery issues.
- Coordinate closely with Procurement and Warehouse teams.
- Maintain logistics transactions and records within the ERP system.
Perfil
Qualifications
- Significant logistics and supply-chain experience.
- Strong UAE/GCC import/export experience.
- Proven customs-management experience.
- Knowledge of dual-use goods and export-control regulations is strongly preferred.
- Experience with international transportation and freight forwarding.
- Odoo or comparable ERP logistics experience.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping documentation.
- Fluent English.
- UAE defence, aerospace, government contracting or industrial-sector experience is highly advantageous.
